Striking Out Cancer by Turning Ks into Ws

For every strikeout thrown by Cubs pitchers at Wrigley Field this season, AbbVie is donating to charities that help fight cancer and support cancer patients and their families.

with every
Cubs strikeout.

In 2026, AbbVie will donate $241 for every strikeout thrown by a Cubs pitcher at Wrigley Field this season, honoring the roughly 241 Americans diagnosed with cancer every hour.1

AbbVie has pledged up to $250,000 per season in donations to support this cause.

As a cancer survivor myself, I am proud to be part of the AbbVie Striking Out Cancer program. Each time I step onto the mound, it means even more knowing that AbbVie is supporting the fight against cancer with every strikeout I throw.
