What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in one of the following or related fields: Biology, Business/Marketing, Computer Science, Communications, Data Science/Analytics, Engineering (Biomedical, Bioengineering, Computer, Industrial, or Mechanical), Life Sciences / Medical Sciences
• Graduation prior to the program start date
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Passion for advancing patient care through innovation and collaboration

Location
Location is primarily Lake County, IL,  with the potential for assignments on the West Coast, depending on business needs.

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in accounting or finance, graduating prior to the program starting
• Minimum of three accounting courses (three credit hours each) completed by graduation

Build a global career in operations through real-world, high-impact rotational experiences. Open to engineering and life sciences graduates, this three-year program prepares you for future leadership by rotating through key areas across AbbVie’s global operations network.

• Rotations across core sub-functions: Manufacturing & Engineering, Quality, Science & Technology, and Supply Chain
• Exposure to cross-functional teams, strategic projects, and global operations leadership

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s (U.S.) or master’s degree (outside of U.S.) in chemistry, analytical chemistry, chemical or mechanical engineering, or related field, graduating prior to program starting
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate, adapt, and lead in team-based environments
• Willingness to relocate to various locations within the home country

Advance your career as a physician-scientist through our two-year rotational program designed for high-potential Medical Doctor (M.D.) specialists. This program is ideal for graduating fellows and physicians who have completed their M.D. with U.S. residency training. You’ll join as an Associate Medical Director, gaining immersive experience across R&D while building the leadership skills you need to drive innovation in drug development.

Program highlights

• Rotational assignments across core R&D sub-functions, including: a four-month rotation in Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics and Pharmacovigilance / Safety, a two-month rotation in Medical Affairs, a two-month rotation in Regulatory Affairs, and two eight-month rotations in Clinical Development (early and late stage)
• Mentorship and professional development through a multi-level mentorship program and leadership-focused training sessions
• Opportunities to make a direct impact on advancing AbbVie’s pipeline through meaningful, cross-functional work

• M.D. degree with U.S. residency training completed
