Our postdoctoral program gives you the opportunity to pursue ground-breaking research as part of an inclusive and collaborative scientific community, publish results in leading journals and present your findings at national and international conferences.
Program overview
Our postdoctoral program is two to three years long, and designed for true investigational and experimental research. In this program, you’ll focus on making cutting-edge advancements in discovery research and development sciences, all while receiving support and mentorship from AbbVie scientists who are leaders in their field.
Locations:
Opportunities may be available in multiple sites, including Lake County, Illinois; Worcester and Cambridge, Massachusetts; South San Francisco and Irvine, California.
Who should apply:
Individuals with a Ph.D.
Our postdoctoral program focuses on discovery and development across a wide range of therapeutic areas, including oncology, immunology, neuroscience, eye care and aesthetics. With experienced scientists as your mentors, you’ll work on meaningful scientific advancements that support our goal of raising the standard of treatment for all.
Whether it’s pursuing publications in top-tier journals or taking part in conferences and panel discussions, we encourage our scientists to engage with peers both inside and outside of AbbVie. By sharing ideas with the scientific community, we can advance new thinking that can ultimately benefit society.
