Jérôme Bouyer

Senior Vice President, AbbVie and President, Immunology

Jérôme Bouyer is Senior Vice President, AbbVie and President, Immunology. He leads the global Immunology strategy, from pipeline to commercialization, as well as the U.S. Immunology commercial business.

Mr. Bouyer joined AbbVie in 2012 as General Manager for Belgium and Luxembourg and has held various leadership positions in the company including Vice President and General Manager, France; Vice President and General Manager, United Kingdom; President and Area Vice President, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa; and Senior Vice President, AbbVie and President of Europe Commercial Operations.

Prior to joining AbbVie, Mr. Bouyer worked at Novartis where he held roles of increasing responsibility. He served as Head of Business Operations and Strategic Planning for Region Europe in 2005 and Head of Marketing and Specialty in Belgium in 2006. In 2008, he was appointed Head of Specialty Business Unit in France and became Chief Marketing Officer for China in 2010. Prior to Novartis, he was Project Manager and Consultant at McKinsey.

Mr. Bouyer is a PharmD from the Pharmacy University of Chatenay-Malabry in France and holds a Master of Business Administration from ESSEC Business School.
